ABOUT US

​The Haxton family has been in the wine and liquor business since 1933, when Thomas C. Haxton opened his first store shortly after Prohibition. 

 

Thomas "Papa" Haxton expanded the business with his children, and Ronald Haxton (the youngest of five), opened our West Shore Road location in the 60s.  Ronald passed away unexpectedly in 1996 and his wife, Karen Haxton, has been dedicated to it since.

 

Today, Haxton's Kent Liquors is still family owned and operated with Ronnie & Karen's children also in the business.  Our extended family is our wonderful team that has been with us for years.
